Part-Time Faculty Position

Reports to the Dean of Management Studies

Lake Erie College is a small, co-educational, 4-year, independent Liberal Arts College located in Painesville, OH, 30-miles east of Cleveland. Major areas of undergraduate study include business, education, equine studies and arts and sciences. Master’s degrees are offered in Business and Education. Interdisciplinary studies and International Education are integral components of the curriculum. Due to significant growth in enrollment Lake Erie College invites applications for adjunct positions. Positions available Fall 2010.

General Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to teach business courses in the day and evening, undergraduate and MBA programs.  Positions available in:

•  Accounting – A CPA is preferred for the accounting positions.
•  Economics
•  Finance
•  Healthcare Administration (evening MBA Program) – A Master’s degree  (MBA, MHA, MPH) or MD or JD or PhD and leadership experience in the healthcare industry is required for the healthcare administration position.
•  Marketing
•  Quantitative Methods/Management Science

Qualifications and Requirements:

An MBA or a relevant Master’s degree and teaching experience is required in the subject area.  PhD or DBA and significant business experience preferred.
